At any venue that displays our seal, if you experience a dispute that leads to an unjustified seizure funds, ThePOGG.com will guarantee that you’ll receive your deposit back from our own wallet if the casino in question won’t do the right thing.

Online gambling is not yet properly regulated and playing online can be a risky business; many online casinos don’t value their players the way they should and will confiscate player funds without clear explanation or at times without any breach of a clear rule. By playing with venues that carry our seal you can be sure that if they decide to treat you poorly, ThePOGG.com will take care of you.

As ThePOGG.com expands, every effort will be made to improve ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee and offer greater protection to our players. Regardless of when you signed up to a casino you will always be covered by the most up-to-date guarantee.

To reflect the commitment that the casinos displaying ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal have made, we have adjusted our rating system accordingly. From this point on, no casino without ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal will receive a Trustworthiness rating of higher than 8/10. Any casino that has received the seal will be awarded 12/10 – for going above and beyond the call of duty to demonstrate that they care about their players. While all casino within a group who meet the criteria will be covered by ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee, only the main venue will receive the full ratings boost. Sister properties will receive a rating of 10/10. This is to ensure that multiple venues within a group where players can only claim bonuses/play with one venue are not displayed in the top 10.

Deposit Guarantee Terms and Conditions

  1. All casinos covered by ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee have agreed to the following terms;
    • In the instance where a player dispute arises, as long as the player in question provides the casino with written permission, the casino will engage fully with ThePOGG.com mediation process and share all information relevant to the decision.
    • All casinos agree not to seize any player funds unless clearly defined terms have been breached by the player. Terms that function solely on the casinos discretion - widely known as 'Spirit of the bonus' terms - will not be considered a valid justification for confiscation of player funds. For clarity we'll provide examples a term that is considered clear and one that is considered invalid:Example of a clear term;
      • While the player is completing the wagering requirement for any bonus they are not allowed to place a bet on any single round of play that exceeds 20% of the bonus amount issued to them.
      Example of an invalid term;
      • [The Casino] reserves the right to review transaction records and logs whenever needed, for any reason. In case that following these reviews the account is identified or suspected as non-recreational play type all winnings and/or bonuses will be revoked at the sole discretion of [The Casino].
      As the above term does not define what 'non-recreational' is, the term is invalid and cannot be used to justify seizure of funds.
    • The casino will display somewhere on their website, ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal to confirm their acceptance of this agreement. [This term will run until the end of June 2016 at which point it will be removed and operators holding our seal will be required to list ThePOGG.com as an Alternative Dispute Resolution service within their terms and condition.
  2. We only guarantee deposits at casinos that display the ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal - which can be seen at the top of this page - on their website, have the seal showing on their review page and who are listed on this page. This offer does not apply to any other venue. If a venue fails on any of these three criteria they are not covered by ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee.
  3. All venues carrying ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal will be required to renew their agreement at the start of May and the start of November each year. This is to ensure that the current management at all affected venues are aware of their agreement and obligations. Renewal of the agreement will also be required at any point where the terms and conditions of ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee change.
  4. Only casinos that have had a minimum of 12 months listed on the site and have no complaints resulting in a ‘Found for the Player’ verdict will be considered for this seal.
  5. ThePOGG.com reserves the right to refuse ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal to any venue even if they meet the other criteria at its sole discretion.
  6. ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee is only available to players who signed up to the affected casino through one of the links on ThePOGG.com. If you signed up directly through the casino or through any other affiliated site, you cannot claim ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee. As such we must be able to identify your username as tracked to our affiliate account before you will be entitled to claim your deposits back. To ensure that you are covered by ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee we would strongly encourage you to email your username and the email you used when signing up to the casino to us at guarantee@thepogg.com so that we can confirm you are tracked to us. If you fail to do this and at the time of an issue occurring we cannot locate your details, no claim will be honoured. As long as we can find your details in the relevant affiliate system, or you have a conformation email acknowledging that we have registered you as one of our players you are fully covered by ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee.
  7. To receive the deposit refund, the player must have posted a complaint against the relevant casino in the Dispute Mediation section of ThePOGG.com website and received a ‘Found for the Player’ verdict.
  8. This guarantee covers all losses at the affected venue in the last month of play up to a maximum of £500. For the purposes of this guarantee a month will be considered to be 28 days prior to the seizure of funds and losses will be calculated by subtracting all withdrawals from the total amount deposited over the 28 day period.
  9. For currencies other than GBP the value of the maximum referred to in term 8 will be calculated using http://xe.com on the day that the refund is paid.
  10. ThePOGG.com will keep 10x the maximum guaranteed deposit ring-fenced at all times.
  11. ThePOGG.com reserves the right to reduce the maximum deposit amount - referred to in term 8 - that will be refunded to a player if 10 or more claims are received against the same casino within a 3 month period.
  12. Where an approved venue breaches the ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee contract, they will lose their status effective immediately.
  13. Where substantive evidence exists to suggest that the player has been involved in fraud, collusion with other players or there is any history of charge backs being made on their account, the player will not be entitled to any refund through this guarantee.
  14. Where any breach of clear casino or promotional terms have occurred the player will not be entitled to any refund through this guarantee.
  15. In the event of a casino shutting down or going offline while keeping player balances, it will be impossible to identify which players signed up through our site using casinos systems. In that instance, a 3 month period must have elapsed where the casino is continuously offline before refunds will be considered. Refunds will only be given to players who contacted us at the time they signed up to the casino to provide us with their username and the email address they registered with the casino. We must have sent a conformation email stating that we have received your details and confirming that you are tracked to us before this process will be considered complete.
  16. In the event of ThePOGG.com closing or being taken over, where possible we will provide 60 days notice listed clearly on our homepage/Deposit Guarantee page stating the date that the Deposit Guarantee will expire. Where possible, we will also notify players via our email list. We cannot guarantee that any future owners would be prepared to continue offering this service.
  17. Where a casino cannot or will not provide information on the financial transactions made by a player, for any claims to be valid the player must be able to produce relevant supporting evidence of the financial transactions in question. Suitable evidence will include bank statements and screen shots from ewallet accounts. All transactions will need to be visable to allow the site admin to identify withdrawals alongside deposits.
  18. Every effort has been made to ensure that the casinos that receive ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee seal are reputable, safe to play with and in sound financial health. However ThePOGG.com is not bankrolled nearly as substantially as any casino, nor do we make nearly as substantial an income. As such, in the event that a casino closes without paying player balances or of mass confiscation of funds occurring as a result of a single promotion which affects a large number of our players, the compensation we will be able to offer player will be consequentially reduced as per term 11. The enforcement of term 11 is not exclusive to the described situations.
  19. All payments occurring due to ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee will be made via Neteller, Western Union or Bank Transfer. In situations where the player cannot accept funds through these methods, efforts will be made to find an alternative, but this will consequently lead to delays.
  20. In all cases of refund claims, the decision of ThePOGG.com is final.
  21. ThePOGG.com reserves the right to suspend or discontinue ThePOGG Deposit Guarantee at any time and for any reason.
  22. Notarized ID – Seal holding venues agree that when requesting that a player provide Notarized ID that this will only be done as a last resort to verify the identity of the player and where valid ID is provided by a public Notary who can be contacted to verify the authenticity of the document full payment will then result.
  23. We reserve the right to refuse any player access to the Deposit Guarantee scheme for any reason at our discretion.
  24. No operator who's affiliate program carries a Minimum Activity Quota, or Revenue Ladder that's lowest tear creates a similar equivalent, will be allowed to receive the Deposit Guarantee seal for the reasons detailed here.
