Casino Review Update Summary November 2015

888 have continued to be non-responsive to player complaints submitted to 3rd party dispute mediation services.

They also appear to have started closing affiliate accounts for ‘under performing’ despite these accounts not having dropped below the minimum activity terms contained within their affiliate contract.

Affiliate Republik

The Affiliate Republik group appear to have engaged in some restructuring and at the same time introduced Negative Carry Over for all affiliates working with Tropezia Palace.

Bear Group

The Bear Group have made clear that they will not respond to player complaints posted at this or any other 3rd party dispute mediation service other than the Alternative Dispute Resolution service that they pay for and require to hold a UKGC license. It should be noted that while the operator are required to provide players with an ADR service, nothing within the UKGC license prevents the operator from working with other 3rd parties to resolve complaints.

Betsson

The Betsson group have continued to be non-responsive to player complaints and appear to have confiscated winnings based on vague terms and conditions (‘Spirit of the Bonus’ seizure).

Betport have continued to be non-responsive to player complaints posted at this site.

BetVictor

BetVictor have made clear that they will not discuss complaints with any 3rd party other than the Alternative Dispute Resolution service they pay for (IBAS). While their UKGC license does require them to have an ADR service available, this does not prevent operators from working with other 3rd party mediation services. As such this is only an internal policy.

BetVictor and their white labels have also changed their affiliate terms in a negative fashion and have retroactively enforced these new terms on old affiliates.

The BWinParty group have continued to be non-responsive to player complaints posted at this site.

The AffClub group appear to have changed their affiliate terms and conditions and retroactively enforced them on old affiliates.

Casino Affiliates Now

The Casino Affiliates Now group have been non-responsive to numerous player complaints posted at AskGamblers.

Casino Plex

Casino Plex have been non-responsive to player complaints at other portals and have confiscated funds based on vague terms and conditions (‘Spirit of the Bonus’ seizure).

Digibet

Digibet have made clear that they will not respond to player complaints posted at this or any other 3rd party dispute mediation service other than the Alternative Dispute Resolution service that they pay for and require to hold a UKGC license. EveningStar Holdings

Connections between the LuckySpins/GoLucky group (AffLuck Machine) and the EveningStar Holdings group have come to light.

This group have been non-responsive to player complaints submitted to this site.

Eypobet have enforced what we view as a predatory dormancy term to confiscate a player’s balance.

Firebrand

The Firebrand group have been non-responsive to several complaints at AskGamblers and have closed a couple of properties in the last 6 months.

Fortune Lounge

The Fortune Lounge group have failed to respond to numerous player complaints posted at AskGamblers.

Gala/Coral/Ladbrokes

There’s a lot of issues with this group that have come up over the last 6 months.

Firstly there’s been the merger between the Gala/Coral group and the Ladbrokes group.

The Gala/Coral group have become non-responsive to player complaint at this site and other 3rd party dispute mediation portal since the introduction of the UKGC license. This is very disappointing and had resulted in the properties being moved to ‘Not Recommended’ status.

Alongside this Gala casino appears to have engaged in changing the terms and conditions of a bonus AFTER a player won. Our terms monitoring service strongly suggests that this is the case.

The GameSys group have changed their affiliate terms and conditions and retroactively enforced them on old affiliates.

HighWeb Venture

An operator from the HighWeb Venture have refused to discuss a complaint at this site.

Jetbull

Were non-responsive to a single player complaint at AskGamblers. We only raise this as Jetbull are a Deposit Guaranteed venue. The complaint was related to self-exclusion policies which are becoming a significant issue for all UKGC licensed white label networks.

Mainstreet

The Mainstreet group have been non-responsive to a couple of complaints at other portals and the complaints appears to have involved payment delays.

Mansion

The Mansion group have continued to be non-responsive to player complaints at this site and other 3rd party dispute mediators.

In one very worrying instance this group specifically and clearly told a VIP player that they were allowed to exceed the maximum bet limit attached to the bonus the player accepted then, despite admitting their mistake, refused to pay the player’s win.

Mojo

The Mojo group have gone from bad to worse this year and are scraping the bottom of the barrel as one of the worst operators in business today. Non-responsive to player complaints, non-payment of balances, shoe-horning terms to justify non-sense fund confiscations and retroactive changes to affiliate terms to some of the worst we’ve ever seen.

MYEG

While we have had some success resolving player complaints with this group, slow payment complaints against SinCity casino have been prevalent and the group has not been nearly as cooperative with out dispute mediation services.

Netplay

While no player complaints came up with this group that were particularly concerning, it did come to our attention that their progressive jackpot payment policy is to our mind predatory and unacceptable. This group offer progressive jackpots that regularly run into the multiple millions range. They limit payments to £20k per month. With a £3mil jackpot full payment would take 12.5 years! The terms also suggest they will make a more substantial payout, but only of the player takes a reduced payment. This creates a situation where the player is placed under unreasonable pressure to take a lower payout than they rightly won and also creates a situation where the casino could be perceived to be advertising jackpots that are higher than they are actually delivering. This is completely unacceptable as a term.

SkillOnNet

The SkillOnNet group have been non-responsive to a complaint at this site. They have refused to work with us due to their Blacklist status that was the result of software issues. It’s worth noting that prior to this change in approach and while this group held Blacklist status, numerous complaints were resolved positively for this group.

Alongside this, 2 of the properties operating on the SkillOnNet platform have been shown to highly likely to the old Class1Casino group that were considered rogue at significant sites.
