These issues revolve around the casino disliking the style of play that the players involved used, but being unwilling to clarify exactly what it is they don't like. As such it becomes impossible to define exactly what it is that these players have done that resulted in their winnings being confiscated, making it risky to play with this group.

Alongside this Vernon - who are not alone amongst Playtech Casinos for doing this - have developed a reputation amongst the playing community for being quicker to implement highly invasive security procedures such as asking for noterized identification which usually involves a charged appointment with a lawyer (see; http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/casino-complaints-non-bonus-issues/48953-vernons-casino-withholding-money.html). These documents are then forwarded to a company in the Phillipines. For UK customers the documents are sent to an address in Liverpool and then the casino forwards the documents on. While in some extreme circumstances there may be justification for invoking this level of invasive measure, enough reports of this happening with the Vernons group have now surfaced that is seems likely that if you win and they have any reason what-so-ever to suspect that you may be playing 'abusively' (though they won't clearly define what abusive play is), you could be asked to fork out for the costly certification (usually between £40-100 in the UK) followed by having your documents sent to a country that is not considered secure for this kind of data handling.
