Trustworthiness 8/10

All six of the reviewers working for this site have held accounts with William Hill Casino for several years and experienced no issues. Oddly one of our reviewers has had their account closed with little explanation other than a “breach of terms and conditions” email. While they were never able to find out why their account was closed the full account balance including comp points was returned to them promptly.

A couple of other points to note when considering William Hill’s reputation would be there purchase of the Crown Solution Playtech group in 2009 and the recent court case won against William Hill by 32 Red for copyright infringement. Crown Solutions had a poor reputation amongst the gambling community. William Hill has stated that they have put procedures in place to improve the rebranded William Hill Casino Club and there have been far fewer customer problems than the previous Crown Solutions operation, however we have found at least one instance of William Hill Casino Club refusing to engage with 3rd party mediation - http://www.gamblinggrumbles.com/Reports/William-Hill_No-payment-and-we-cant-ask-why. The 32 Red lawsuit occurred due to William Hill’s use of the 32Vegas website. The court ruled that this was clear violation of 32 Red’s trademark.

Alongside the above report William Hill have been unresponsive to a second complaint posted at Ask Gamblers - http://www.askgamblers.com/casino-complaints/william-hill-casino-confiscated-my-winnings-c1543. William Hill fortunately doesn't receive many complaints, however their unwillingness to discuss complaints when they do arise is concerning.
