Euro Games Technology (EGT) Review

Top rated casinos using this software

JetBull

Overview

Euro Games Technology (EGT) were founded in Bulgaria and have primarily focused on producing offline slot terminals for the land based casino markets. While EGT do offer some Video Poker and casino table games, this selection is very small in number and far from widely available.

The online Euro Games Technology slots games are a lower in number than the major providers – approximately a 40 to 50 in number at the time of publication. Graphically they seem a little outdated falling more in line with the style of RealTime Gaming than that of the more modern high end software developers. Bonus features are a little on the predictable side, focusing mainly on free spin or ‘choose random object’ type features. The House Edge of the EGT slots games appears to range from around 3% to 5.5%.

The major defining feature of the EGT slots catalogue is that their games offer Progressive Jackpot capabilities but do not change excessive House Edges for players to play progressive games. The larger software providers tend to charge extortionate amounts to play any game linked to a Progressive Jackpot. The downside to their Progressive Jackpots is that as EGT are offered by relatively few online operators, their Progressive Jackpot meters are unlikely to reach any substantial amount.

As Euro Game Technology do not offer a full casino platform (i.e. there are no casinos currently using them as their primary provider), we are not going to give them as full software rating as this would be an unfair comparison to make.

At the present time we are only aware of two online operators offering EGT games – Jetbull and Quasar Gaming.
