Aramon’s 2014/15 NFL Picks: Week 9 (Monday)

Posted by THEPOGG on Nov 03, 2014

NFL

What a fine day we had yesterday with the picks. Winning 3 out of 4 was nice after last weeks disaster. We were so very close to sweeping the day and really cutting into our deficit, but Washington gave up their lead late in the game and caused us to lose a close one. No matter, what counts is we had a good profitable day and we are on our way back! It continues tonight with what should be a nice win for us on the Monday night game. We will continue to grind our way back with a cool head and smart wagering, and tonight should just add to our already profitable week.

The Giants come into this game having 15 days to prepare for the Colts coming to town. New York went into their bye week off of 2 disappointing losses following their 3 game winning streak. The Giants have looked good at times this year while looking equally bad in their losses. While Giants QB Eli Manning hasn’t thrown an INT in 3 games, he also hasn’t really been letting the ball go and throwing downfield. Also worth mentioning here is, while Manning hasn’t thrown a pick in 3 straight games, he has never gone 4 straight in his career. This may be a factor against this Colt defense that has has recorded 21 sacks this year which ranks them ninth in the league. The Giants will also be without there dynamic young RB Rashad Jennings for a 3rd straight game. His absence has been noticeable to the potency of the Giant offense as they are just not the same without him. That will prove to be a problem going against the Colts powerful offense and not having the weapons to match the scoring, nor the defense to stop them. The Colts QB Andrew Luck comes into this game with 22 TD’s and having passed for a league high 2731 yard already. With number one receiver T.Y. Hilton as his main target this year this tandem has been virtually unstoppable. Besides Hilton the Colts are loaded offensively and should have little trouble moving the ball. Look for a good dose of former Giant RB now with the Colts Ahmad Bradshaw as he has had a great season and is a fine compliment to their other big back Trent Richardson. The Giants have really struggled playing teams with winning records going 0-4-1 in their last 5. It will be no different tonight as the Colts bounce back big after last weeks tough loss to Pittsburgh.
