Aramon’s 2015/16 NFL Picks: Week 12 (Thursday)

Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating it today! Besides feasting today, this is a day to give thanks…..and I am thankful for NFL football all day today! There is only 1 play for us today but it is a big one. It is a holiday for sure when we can sit back, eat, drink, and cash in on some football! Last week saw us bounce back with a nice win, and I am supremely confident we ride the momentum with a big win on today’s wager.

The disrespect being shown the unbeaten Carolina Panthers is astounding. I believe this is the first time ever a 10-0 team has been an underdog to a 3 win team at this point of a season. Yes with Cowboy starting QB Tony Romo back in the lineup Dallas is a far better team then their record would suggest, this is undeniable. But there may be no team in the NFL besides possibly the Patriots that should be favored over Carolina at this point. I was slow to buy totally in with Carolina this season as well. Their defense has been solid to great but it seemed they were winning with smoke and mirrors with a suspect offense and QB Cam Newton putting up pedestrian numbers at best. Well that is no longer the case. Cam Newton has played incredibly well over the last few weeks and coming off of his 5 touchdown game last week, has put himself in consideration for league MVP. The Cowboys with Romo are a good team, but he is still trying to find his groove after being out for months with a broken collarbone. And Dallas is going up a legitimately great team that has actually voiced the feeling of being disrespected by being a 10-0 underdog. I expect a huge game from Carolina that Dallas cannot handle. Look for the Panther defense to pressure Romo a lot today, he struggled with pressure last week, his first week back. That was against the Dolphins. This will be against a beast of a defense that I do not feel the Cowboys have a chance of controlling. The Cowboy defense has been good as of late returning to their early season form, but they won’t matchup well with Cam Newton being able to run his massive 260lb body down the field should the Cowboy defensive pas rush shut down the pass. This is a massive overbet by the public that has totally skewed the line in this game. We will take full advantage of this with an easy max bet win on Carolina.
