Aramon’s 2015/16 NFL Picks: Week 14 (Monday)

Posted by THEPOGG on Dec 14, 2015

NFL

Okay yesterday was another one of those blah wagering days. We went 1-1 and took a small loss but was really just a prelude to our much more lucrative play of the week that we have tonight. We have a very strong play tonight that should make us winners for the week and add to the bankroll. With just a few more weeks of the regular season it would be nice to really build up the bank for an awesome playoff run. I have done my best work in the post seasons of the past few years, so lets get it rolling today and make our big run to the end!

Alright, both of these teams have been a disappointment this season. The giants once a defensive force with a decent offense, has basically not been able to stop anyone from scoring and have become largely one dimensional on offense relying primarily on the passing game. The Dolphins who many predicted before the season to maybe even challenge the Patriots for the division title have not only fell flat this season, but have had much in the way of turmoil throughout the organization even having fired the head coach after their dismal start. The difference in the clubs comes down to the Giants having a far better offense and structured organization, as well as having the better QB in Eli Manning who is having a very good year. The Giants need a win tonight to keep pace in the NFC East leading Eagles for first place. The fact that Miami is absolutely dreadful at home is a cause for concern for them, but cause for elation for those betting against the home team tonight. The Dolphins are 1-7 against the spread in their last 8 games at home. They have lost by at least 9 points in their last 3 games as well as their last 5 at home. There is virtually no home field advantage in Miami, and it would be of no surprise to see almost as many New York fans down there as Dolphin fans. A slight embellishment maybe, but not too far off. The bottom line is the Giants are not quite as bad as their 5-7 record suggests. They have had some bad luck and took qyuite a few last minut losses this season that if the ball had bounced another way they could conceivably be a 9 or 10 win team. The Dolphins seem to be regressing and may not win another game this year. They should be able to run the ball against this weak Giant defense, but they will need more then that to keep pace with the dynamic duo of Manning to superstar WR Odell Beckham. I predict Beckham will have a huge night, and the Giants will come through with a much needed win after that heart breaking overtime loss to the Jets last week. Its also a need they win to stay realistically in playoff contention considering their tough upcoming schedule over the next 3 games after tonight. This is one game they need to win, and they will.
