Aramon’s 2015/16 NFL Picks: Week 15 (Saturday)

Posted by THEPOGG in Blog.

NFL

A great win for us on Monday night ended week 14 with us up almost 6.5 units on the season. We have been on the right track lately and Monday night’s near perfect analysis along with a strong wager just adds to the confidence level. Tonight we have yet another strong play as we look to kick off this week early with a big time win. The post season is just a few weeks away and this is the time of the season to build up a good healthy bankroll. We will have more plays tomorrow, but for tonight we have a big one!

Monday’s results : +4.0 units
Total to date : +6.4 units

New York Jets -3 over Dallas Cowboys : Bet 5 units

Result:

If there was ever a game I would use the hyperbole statement of “bet the house” on, it would be this one. The Jets stand at 8-5 having won their last 3 games in impressive fashion and covering ATS in each of them. The Cowboys at 4-9 unbelievably still have an outside chance of making the playoffs in the rather dismal NFC East division. However, I have little doubt the surging Jets will put the Cowboys chances of a post season berth to bed tonight. Unfortunately for the Jets even if they win out the remainder of the season their 11-5 record may not get them into the playoffs….but this is a game they need to win because next week they go up against division rival New England. That is a tough task. Tonight however they go up against a Tony Romo less Cowboy team that is being led by back up QB Matt Cassell who has not been good and is just 1-5 as a starter this season. With Cassell not being able to fill the role of QB sufficiently star WR Dez Bryant has pretty much been neutralized and this Cowboy offense is pretty much toothless. On the other side, the Jets offense has found its best groove of the season and will be a handful for just about any team, let alone these hapless Cowboys. New York QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has found new life as a starter in the NFL this season with two all pro WR’s in Eric Decker and Brandon Marshall. And with RB Chris Ivory back in form with his punishing ground game, this Jets team are going to put up some serious points on just about any defense at this point. With the Jet defense once again rounding into top form I see no way the Cowboys will be able to keep pace with the Jets scoring and this will not be a close game. I look to the Jets to score over 30 and for Dallas to only get on the board should New York let off the gas in the 4th quarter due to an insrmountable lead. The Cowboys are a far different and far worse team without Tony Romo leading them. Even with Romo I would think this game to have a Jets slight edge. Without him this game should show two teams going in opposit directions….in a hurry. The Jets will not lose a game this time of the year to any team they are better then, and they are better on both sides of the ball than the Dallas Cowboys as presently constituted.
