Well Sunday proved profitable for us as we went 1-1-1. The push was a heart breaker as Seattle’s defense went totally awry in the 4th quarter blowing a 24-7 lead. That is definitely something nobody could have foreseen. A total whiff on the Cowboys that kept it close for the 1st half and then just looked awful coming out for the second. The big difference however was winning our max wager in the Giants/49er over. No issues with that game, as it pretty much unfolded as predicted. It sealed a winning day for us, and tonight looks to expend on a winning week, adding to a winning season. Lets keep it rolling!

Result: Pittsburgh Steelers 24 : 20 San Diego Chargers
The Chargers playing at home is one of the weakest home advantages in the NFL. Not that they have bad fans, but they are laid back and not extremely noisy or distracting for the visiting team. The Steelers on the other hand “travel well” as they say, and should have a fair bit of support in San Diego tonight. While Chargers QB Phillip Rivers is having a very good year, the Charger defense cannot stop anybody. The reason for the Chargers being favorites is of course due to their star QB Ben Roethlisberger not playing, but veteran Michael Vick should be quite capable of handling the quarterback duties for a second week in a row against a defense that just hampers what otherwise could be a very good Chargers team. I believe Steelers RB Lavean Bell will have a monster day running the ball tonight. This is going to take all the pressure off of Vick to do anything but manage the game, and take some big shots downfield with superstar WR Antonio Brown. The Steeler defense is actually pretty formidable too, and going against a Charger offensive line that has struggled I expect the Pittsburgh D to make an impact. Don’t get me wrong, Rivers is too good not to have some moments, I don’t expect him to get totally shut down. But I see this Pittsburgh team to be every bit as good as San Diego even without Roethlisberger. Tack on 4 points and we have ourselves a nice Monday night play.
