In an incident discovered at Betfred casino, games provided by FinSoft – a subsidiary of the Spielo G2 group, formally known as GTECH G2 and Boss Media – were shown to be intentionally misleading players regarding their odds of success.

Two real play Hi Lo card games were proven to be using card distributions that were non-natural, something that is both in direct violation of Betfred’s Gibraltar Regulatory Authority License and would be considered cheating in all well regulated offline jurisdictions. Alongside this, numerous free games offered by FinSoft were shown to be returning a vastly inflated level of fund to the customer than their real play equivalents again, in violation of the GRA license.

As these issues could in no way be considered accidental we’ve taken the decision to blacklist this software provider and extend the blacklisting to any casino that continues to work with them. Association with a group that has been shown to be intentionally cheating players is not behaviour that any reputable casino should engage in.

There are several categories in this blacklist entry;

Betfred casino – Not only were they offering the affected games, but the statements they made certainly strongly imply that they were aware of the nature of the games they were offering.

Bet 365 – This is the second instance of a card game at Bet365 offered by Spielo G2 which demonstrates non-natural card distributions. In the first instance Bet 365 seem to have got off very lightly by simply moving the game to the Arcade section of the site. Alongside this Bet 365 are continuing to work with Spielo G2.

Casinos that continue to work with this provider despite being informed that they’ve been involved with cheating – these casinos include Boyle, Paddy Power and Unibet

Casinos that use Boss Media software – these casinos include, Gold Club Casino, SunSet Casino, Heaven Casino, CasinoClub and CasinoForMe
