Captain Cooks Casino Making a Statement with their Branded Slots

Posted by Glenn Baird on Aug 12, 2020

Canada’s Captain Cooks Casino is no different to any other operator, in that they are passionate about slots and are more that a little keen on getting the best branded titles into their casino lobby. Right now, there are 3 in particular that stand out as branded slots that are worth checking out and we’ll be providing you with the low-down on each of them.

Bridesmaids

First up is Bridesmaids. Back when this one was released we gave Bridesmaids a stellar score of 9 out of 10, something that doesn’t happen all that often at ThePogg. The slot is based on the 2011 movie staring comedy actor Melissa McCarthy. The movie went on to be a success, pulling in $288m in worldwide sales and helping to elevate McCarthy as a household name.

The slot is a celebration of all things wedding and all things pink. This is a 5-reel slot that plays out over an impressive 40 paylines. Like all good slots, this one comes with Wild symbols and you also get 3, count them, 3 bonus features.

The 3 bonus features are based on the 3 main characters and each one of them offers you something that little bit different.

Along with the features and the design we felt that the house edge was offering good value for money too and as such, how could we not give this one at least a 9 out of 10?

Game of Thrones

OK, this slot needs to come with a confession of sorts. When Game of Thrones was released we didn’t actually rate it all that highly. Now, we are a website of our word so we will stick with the measly 5 out of 10 we placed on its head all those years ago, but in hindsight, the popularity of the slot has helped prove how little we apparently know.

Second confession. We also aren’t all that keen on the show and that was prior to the catastrophically awful final season. Shame on us!

For those, like Captain Cooks Casino, who know better than us, you will have noticed that the Game of Thrones slot comes with 4 different Free Spins options and, as the word option should suggest, you get to choose which one of the 4 you want to play. Each option is affiliated with one of the families from the series to help keep things that little bit more thematic.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword

Last on this list, we take a break from movies (sort of) and instead enter the world of computer games. Yet another Microgaming slot and another triumph, we give you Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Secret of the Sword .

There is nothing about our review of this slot that we need to apologise for. A perfect score of 10 out 10 means there was little that Microgaming could have done to improve on this one.

Based on the game, as you can imagine, this one looks excellent. The 3 different bonus features on offer makes this a slot that is not just based on a computer game but is actually trying to be one.

Is this the best slot that Captain Cooks Casinos has to offer? Honestly, I would say that it probably is!
