Primarily providing services to sportsbook clientele, Digital Gaming Solutions also service several sportsbook operations. Their company is based in Costa Rica, and they have been in business since the early 2000’s though given the copyright message on their official site reads “www.DigitalGamingSolutions.com 2003-2010. All rights reserved” we suspect that their software platform is no longer being actively updated. The Digital Gaming Solutions software provides players with an instant play casino. Graphically their casino software looks years out of date but load relatively quickly. It should be noted that there can be a sustained delay between clicking 'Play' and the round commencing while the games display a 'contacting server, please wait' message. There are two possible speed settings 'Fast Play On/Off' and the fastest is at a satisfactory pace. They do provide a feature to control the sound volume in all games. Game selection at DGS casinos is middling very good when looking at table games and video poker games and very poor when looking at slots games with a good number of table games with most of the more common table games – other than Texas Hold ‘Em Bonus – available. They offer and have done for several years the Blackjack Switch game – a game designed by and whose rights are held by Geoff Hall. Having discussed this issue with Geoff, Digital Gaming Solutions have never approached him about obtaining a license to use his game nor have they every paid him a penny. This use of a proprietary game without permission is highly questionable in terms of both ethics and legality.. They offer a very small range of slots games – at time of publication 10. The games themselves are of a low standard offering nothing in the way of bonus features beyond the click and button win a prize/free spin features. They do not publish the RTP figures for their slots games. They offer a larger selection of video poker games – 6 varieties with both single and multi-hand denominations available alongside Progressive Jackpots. Their video pokers games do not have an autohold feature. Between an out of date software platform and offering a game without obtaining the rights to do so, using DGS software is not a positive for any casino.
