32Red - Illegal to operate from within Belgium - funds should be refunded
Ruling
Found for the Casino - While this player did play at 32Red while on holiday, they are a UK citizen and subject to UKGC regulation. If the player wishes to pursue this issue they should contact the Belgian regulator, however we strong suspect that the regulator will not be interested in the small volume of play involving a player who is a non-resident.

Player's Complaint
Hi, I was on holiday last weekend in Belgium and lost around £6,000 playing online casino with 32Red. 32Red is not a licensed gaming provider in Belgium and I was unaware of this at the time. I believe 32Red was operating unlawfully and demand back these funds as they have no license to operate in Belgium. I have evidence supporting all of my travel and hotel invoice in Brussels. Thank you for your help.

Hi Phoenix81 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!
Unfortunately we're not going to be able to help you here.
As you've stated that you went on holiday to Belgium it's fair to conclude that you do not live in Belgium. Belgian licensing laws apply to Belgian citizens. This is really a tax issue to ensure that companies making money off of Belgian citizens are paying taxes to the Belgian government. The fact that you briefly took a trip there doesn't make you subject to Belgian licensing laws.
If you really want to pursue this I would recommend contacting the Belgian regulator, though I strongly doubt they'll have any interest in your case.
I would also say that had the roles been reversed and you'd won money, I would suggest that you would be very irate had 32Red refused to pay you due to your being on holiday.
Sorry we can't be of further help.
