Betport Casino Refuses to pay €9,500 Winnings

Hello,

I have already made filed disputes with 2 other websites, Gambling Grumbles and Ask Gamblers, and neither of these websites were able to reason with the casino. I understand if you think it would be pointless to contact the casino seeing as others have already tried, but I would like to warm other players of depositing their if they have no chance of getting paid.

-----------------------------

I have been waiting several months for a withdrawal from Bet Port Casino. They send you lots of emails trying to get you to deposit then they don't pay out the winnings!!!!

They no longer reply to emails when you ask when your winnings will be paid, I recommend all players stay away from Bet Port Casino until they are able to pay winnings.

Hi aburke86 - thanks for getting in contact.

I don't see any reason not to try. Even though we've only dealt with a small number of complaints so far we've already had success with issues that other mediation services have failed to resolve, so we'd be as well having a go.

What I need you to do is provide me with your username and the email address that you use at BetPort casino.

[EDIT]

Also, It appears that some of the links on your homepage (news section) do not work eg: http://thepogg.com/thepogg.com/casino-review/casino-noir/

Thanks for that aburke86. I'll get in contact with BetPort and get back to you asap. It's likely to be next week before I hear anything back.

As to the link - it's been fixed - thanks for the heads-up.

Just to update aburke86 - I have now made two attempts to contact BetPort with no success. I'll make another attempt just now and if they fail to respond I'll mark this a 'Found for the Player'.

Thanks for your perseverance in this case. The real problem is a fraudulent casino operation on the internet without any kind of regulation. I feel it is important to warm other players of their fraudulent actions.

I've closed this case and marked it 'Found for the Player'. We've reached out to BetPort casino on several occasions now and they've been totally unresponsive.

Looking at the threads from other mediation sites two things immediately spring to mind;

1) If accusations of multi-accounting are going to be used to justify seizing a player's funds there should be evidence provided to support these claims to whichever mediator the casino has decided to work with (as far as I can see only vague claims have been made in this case).

2) In cases like this, if the casino is going to seize funds from winning players they evidence to support the accusation has to be substantive, linking a group of players through multiple account similarities and preferably verified by third party sources.

Multi-accounting has to be treated as a very serious issue by casinos - left unchecked it can cause serious financial damage - but if claims of connected accounts are going to be used to justify seizure of funds from a player, the evidence has to be stronger than could be explained by coincidence.

Hi ThePOGG,

When reading your website I see you have managed to recently get a player paid by Bet Port Casino. Would you be able to take another look at my complaint too?

Thank You

Hi aburke86,

The previous resolved complaint was only managed through Betports regulator in Curacao. If you want me to have another look at this I'd ask you to submit a new complaint containing all the relevant details (as this one's now public).
