Found for the Player - Betsson have withheld a balance that is substantially made up of player deposit and have declined to discussed the issue. Even in sever situations, it's highly unusual for a casino withhold deposits. The entire Betsson group's ratings have been downgraded as a result.

Hello,

Around 2011 I made an account with Betsson, I played there one time I think. After that I deposited €500 and I played some games. There was a €30 bonus on my €500 I played it over I cashed out €637. After that I had an email they wanted to call me and after doing that I didn't heard anything anymore. I entered the chat and they said through security reasons my account has been closed I asked for my money in return they said can not tell anything about it. I left it with that I didn't know there was such sites like yours so I hope you can get some more information for me and if there is a problem at least my €500 deposit refunded. I don't know how you can commit a fraud with €500 deposit on a €30 bonus. I really didn't want that bonus. Can you please find out what happened.

I'll contact Betsson and see what I can find out, though I will say in advance that the age of this complaint may prove to be a barrier in this instance.

Hi Alexandro,

I've finally heard back from Betsson, who have informed me that they will not discuss player issues with 3rd party mediation sites and that you should either contact them directly or make a complaint with the Maltese Lottery and Gamging Authority.

As such I have no choice but to mark this complaint as 'Found for the Player' and remark that it's highly unusual for a casino to withhold deposits in these type of cases. I've also reduced the rating of all Betsson properties accordingly.
