Player's Complaint
Yesterday I deposited twice 50mbtc to bitstarz and got lucky on a slot machine. My balance got up to 2.41 BTC. Then when I tried to withdraw, after KYC, bitstarz decided to confiscate all the winnings with the excuse that I'm from the [EDIT]. There was no warning of this except a single sentence buried deep in their very long T&C that nobody reads. Unlike most big casinos that refuse [EDIT] players, there was no prominent warning on the sign up page, and no system to prevent registration from [EDIT] IP addresses. Bitstarz just freerolls unsuspecting [EDIT] players. Losers from the [EDIT] don't get their money back, and winners don't get paid. This is very unfair bordering on fraudulent. Fine print in the T&C dosn't make it OK to freeroll the whole [EDIT]. They should put a better warning in place and prevent registrations from [EDIT] IP addresses, like most other casinos do. Until they do that, they are morally obligated to pay out US winnings, or else change the "deposit" link to "donate" lol.

Hi smhzo - welcome to ThePOGG.com!
Before going further I wanted to apologise for the delay in processing your complaint. Given the nature of this issue I needed to carry out a conversation with the operator about this before responding.
The first point I would make is that players from the United States were clearly restricted in the terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to read the terms before signing-up. Saying afterwards 'I didn't read the rules' does not hold up as justification for breaking them.
Nevertheless, having checked with the operator you are correct that they are not requiring an address at point of sign-up.
So the situation is as follows: BitStarz are not morally obligated to do anything. You agreed to a set of rules that you immediately were in breach of. However, in this instance my understanding is that the operator have agreed to pay you as a gesture of good will, your account will be closed and my understanding is that a reference to the restricted countries will now be added directly to sign-up form.
If you could let me know if/when you've received your funds I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
ThePOGG
