Bloodmoon Casino - Holding funds

Ruling

Found Against the Operator - Despite our repeated efforts to contact Bloodmoon Casino to discuss this issue we have received no response whatsoever from the operator.

Player's Complaint

Holding my winnings for placing bets equal to or greater than 30% of my deposit. My deposit was £75 and no bonuses were used, the majority of my bets were under 30% of my deposit amount. Should it have let me put bets on over this 30% deposit amount, seems a very strange term and condition.

Hi phil270785,

Please read our Complaint Guidance to ensure that you fully understand how our complaint management process functions.

As a UK citizen you should only be playing with operators that hold a UKGC license. Bloodmoon Casino does not hold a UKGC license and as such is breaking UK law by accepting your custom.

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you in this instance. This group of operators apply maximum bet limits to non-bonus play. Our understanding is that this practice would be non-compliant with EU consumer law, but having discussed this issue on several occasions with this group I can say with confidence that they will not change their position.

Sorry we cannot be of more help.

Hi, should I submit a complaint though ADR as this seems illegal.

Hi phil270785,

The ADR system is a protection that's offered via the UKGC license. Unlicensed operators are not required to, nor do they, offer ADR as a means of resolving player disputes.

Is there anyone you could suggest that I could raise a dispute with? Any help is appreciated.

Hi phil27085,

If we knew of any viable options for players to pursue this type of claim we would be informing players who approached us.

We don't know of any viable options for you.
