Burnbet – payout complaint

Ruling

Found for the Player - BurnBet were entirely unresponsive to our repeated attempts to communicate with them about this issue. As such this case is ruled in favour of the player.

Player's Complaint

Dear support,I deposited 600eur to joke company and later tried to withdraw money. They requested ID, i have sent it, everything looks okay.Later they said that i used NT deposit at Germany which isn't true and i don't know how they got this point that i use it from Germany.Only because my phone number is German using in Bulgaria, they said it.Later they wanted selfie, bank statement and ADDRESS Verification .I said that address verification to Bulgaria will not come as most of the postal letters aren't delivered on time + i see what kind of scam bookmaker they are but finally they blocked my account and said that will SEND .I have 1040eur at my account by them.Hope you can help me without the address verification as they will lie once again.Take care!

Hi eemurla - welcome back!

Firstly this is your second complaint in less than 6 months that has been related to either a very low profile operator, or in this case, a widely rogued operator. If you continue to choose these fringe type groups to play with you are going to continue to experience problems.

As mentioned above, BurnBet are widely rogued and have reportedly gone so far as to threaten the lives of the owners of another affiliate portal. It's highly unlikely we'll be able to get them to cooperate with us, especially as we're due to add a Blacklist status review about them in the near future.

Even if we can get hold of the operator we would not ask them to pay out without having fully verified your account. Given that you're using a German phone number and your previous complaint in April listed you as living in Germany, I'd say that the operator have legitimate reason to have concerns when you cannot produce documentation matching the details on your account.

In short, before we contact the operator about this issue you need to obtain valid proof of your address. Once you've got that let us know and we'll approach the operator about your issue.

Dear ThePogg,

I know it's 2nd time that i use such bad casino.
I am living in Germany but i am Bulgarian and stay 3 months in Bulgaria in the year.
Used Burnbet with my Bulgarian address because at that time i was in Bulgaria as i have there bank statements as well.
So everything is right in the profile and they threathened me that i posted on SBR about them.

Hi eemurla,

Moving address regularly like this is always going to make operators uncomfortable. You are still going to have to be able to provide proof of address for the Bulgarian address otherwise there's nothing that we could do to help you.

When you say they "threatened" you what exactly do you mean?

Dear support i sent them bank statement from bulgaria together with statement from the government that i live there.

They said that they saw i posted on forums about them and i will never get my withdrawal from them.
I sent all the requested documents to them as said and said them to send only my deposit snd i would be happy.
No response after it.

Hope you can help even for my deposit.

Hi eemurla,

Having briefly reviewed your communications with BurnBet I'm sorry to say that I agree with the operator's position. Your phone is a German number. You registered a Bulgarian address. This immediately raises fraud concerns.

As such the operator has requested that you provide additional documentation and wanted to send a verification code to your registered address. These are reasonable anti-fraud policies that shouldn't have been a problem to you. I'm a little confused as to why you've objected so strongly to these.

I also don't see BurnBet behaving in a threatening manner.

The bottom line here is that while we'd be happy to contact BurnBet for you we would still require you to comply with these requests. If you're prepared to do that let me know.

They can send the letter when they want.

P.S. I will be at home till 17.10 so doubt the letter will arrive till that date.

I sent additional document from the state already.

Hi eemurla,

Unfortunately repeated efforts to communicate with BurnBet have gone without a response. At this point I have no reasonable expectation of this changing.

Unfortunately BurnBet are licensed in Curacao by an unknown Master License Holder. As such I can't even direct you to the relevant party to contact at their regulatory body.
