CampeonBet – Withdrawal delayed/prevention

Ruling

Found for the Casino - CampeonBet provided sufficient evidence for us to establish that this player has shared an IP address with other accounts. This is a breach of terms and as such we will take no further part in the representation of this player's complaint.

Player's Complaint

Dear The Pogg,

I am unsure if you’ll be able to help, although I’m hoping you can.

I have a complaint regarding Campeonbet.com

I have an account with campeonbet.com however it appears they are not registered with the U.K. Gambling Commission.

I have a balance of £5000 but they have not actioned my withdrawal request which I requested on 13/05 (2 weeks ago tomorrow), they delayed verification of my account and have become unresponsive to my communication.

They have told me they have found other accounts associated with my IP address, I’m not entirely sure what that means but can 100% guarantee that I’ve only opened one account with campeonbet.

Are you able to offer any assistance or advice at all?

Hi mikeyowen - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

You are right that as a UK player you should only be playing with UKGC licensed operators, however this in itself would not be reason for us to uphold a complaint.

With regard to your issue, I'll be happy to contact the operator and see if we can find out what the issue is, but I need to be clear from the outset that if your account has shared an IP address with other accounts - whether this is via having other accounts accessed from your internet connection or due to use of a VPN or other service intended to anonymise your IP - this is a prohibited activity and there will be nothing we can do to help you.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Dear The Pogg,

Thank you for your reply.

Campeonbet, was communicating with me, hence the delay in responding to you. I had hoped the casino and I could have resolved but they have gone very unresponsive again.

They have told me that I have had 5 accounts with them and that I have previously been deposited and withdrawn via one of the accounts previously. This is definitely not the case, I have only ever opened one account (the account in question) and do not even know what a VPN is or how I would anoyomise my IP.

My balance is now £15,016.93. However, Campeonbet have now frozen my account whilst they “investigate”.

Their management team told me I need to prove the 5 accounts are not connected to me. However, when I ask them what information they require from me to do so. They just tell me to wait.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

CampeonBet have provided enough evidence to demonstrate that multiple accounts have been accessing their service from the same IP address as this player. This is a breach of terms. As such we will take no further part in the representation of this player's claim.
