Cashpot – Withdrawal issue

Found for the Player - Cashpot casino failed to offer any response to this complaint. The terms appear to have been enforced in a questionable manner.

Player's Complaint

I tried to withdraw at Cashpot Casino but was told my withdrawal was restricted to 10 x my last deposit which was 100GBP equating to 116 Euros as that is the playing currency. The minimum accumulated deposits for the site before withdrawal must exceed 200 euros. I have deposited 100, 50, 100 euros since joining so I assumed I have met deposit requirements. My balance yesterday was over 7000 euros and I withdrew 1000 euros. Today I get an email stating my withdrawal would be adjusted to 1162 euros and the remaining balance is void. Which means I have lost about 6000 euros. I do not understand why I am only being paid 1162 and I work in the gambling industry.

Unfortunately you've chosen to play with a group that is both non-responsive to complaints posted at this site and that carries exceptionally predatory terms and conditions. The term in question in this case is as follows:

"13.6 If a player's accumulated deposit amount does not exceed €200, player will be entitled only up to X10 last deposit. This maximum payout will be enforced also in cases where the player made additional deposits which were deemed at the sole discretion of the Casino to have been made in order to exceed the €200 accumulated deposit amount."

You'll notice in the above that the operator includes an exception allowing them to discount deposits if in their opinion they have been made simple to meet the €200 limit.

This rule has already been rejected by the Malta Gaming Authority where this group were previously licensed and may not be valid under European law (this is something that's currently being investigated), but as this group are now licensed outside of the EU it's very unlikely that we'll be able to do anything to help you. Even if Cashpot do respond they'll simply point to that term as justification for their actions.

I'll contact the casino and let you know if we get anything back from them.

Hi cazza247,

We have repeatedly contacted Cashpot casino and have had no response. They've now exceeded our final deadline by over a week. I'm sorry to say that there's no reasonable hope or expectation of this operator responding to this complaint.
