Player's Complaint

I placed a deposit on the account I had recently signed up for, I continued to play until I met the wagering requirements, I played beneath the max bet and once I believed this had been met increased my bet, on the website it strictly states that it will use real money first and whilst using my real money and not touching the bonus figure I had a significant win and requested a withdrawal of £4000, I was absolutely overjoyed, a low earner this is a massive amount for me, however I have now received an email stating they have confiscated my winnings and I am at a lost what to do as I can't just let the £4000 go, my winnings were made from my 'real money' I had deposited and not touching the bonus which I didn't want.

Hi Leanneglos1 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

While I appreciate your frustration, if you've exceeded the maximum allowed bet before completing the wagering requirement for the bonus you opted in for there's nothing we can do to help you.

While there are some operators that offer segrigated bonus systems, where the player only activates the bonus and becomes subject to the terms on the bonus at the point in time that they wager part of the bonus balance, they are the minority. The vast majority of casino operators apply bonus restrictions from the point of deposit. This policy carries the knock on effect on not counting wagering made with "Real" funds towards the wagering requirement. Energy casinos terms apply in this manner as can be seen below:

18. We offer you an option to forfeit your bonuses. All you need to do is go to “My account” and click on “Cancel bonus” which is available in right section of website. However please be aware that if you forfeit a bonus before completing any required wagering, the bonus along with any additional accumulated winnings will be removed.

That the bonus AND winnings are voided if you choose to withdraw before meeting the wagering requirement demonstrates that Energy casino do not deviate from the standard practice of counting wagering from the point of deposit against the wagering requirement and as such enforcing all bonus terms at the point of deposit.

As such, if you've violated the maximum allowed bet term before completing the wagering requirement there's no ground for us to ask for the return of your funds.

If you haven't breached the maximum bet term let me know and I'll approach the operator.
