Found for the Player - Fairwaybet have closed their business without paying players. They assure that they will reopen and pay but provide no timeline.

Player's Complaint


I am awaiting 2 withdrawals to hit my account since 5th August 2020, one for €1500 and the other for €1700

Initially they said there was a security block on my account, I received a phone call and after a period of 4 weeks I was informed that all was good and I can expect my funds in 3 to 10 working days.

Since then, I have been told numerous times that all looks good, my withdrawals will be on the way very soon

Needless to say, still no funds received

I should mention that I have received withdrawals from them in the past, yes they have been delayed, but by 6 weeks rather than 6 months.

Other excuses have been

1. business is temporary closed for upgrades (Nov to Feb)

2. As a result of the closure, they have over 8000 withdrawals to process manually

3. My withdrawals have been made priority

I have received six different dates that money will be in my account for, the latest was Feb 15th. I contacted them again and they gave me the usual The withdrawals are authorised and on the way, please allow 3 to 10 days

I contacted them three times since asking them to confirm that money has left their account, and they have ignored these emails.

I would appreciate any help at all with this, the amount of stress this is causing is unbelievable.

Just an update, I received the below email yesterday.

Thanks for your email. Please be advised that the business is still temporarily closed and as a result there are many delays. We sincerely apologize for this and look forward to the grand reopening.

Your withdraws have been authorized and you should be receiving them at any moment. Please be advised that there may also be delays by the accepting bank.

If you do not receive the funds soon, please contact us.

This generally starts another cycle saying I can expect payment in 3-10 days its just consistantly going around in circles for 7 months now.

Fairwaybets have informed us that they have closed their business and no further payments will be made until they reopen.

This is obviously totally unacceptable, but I'm afraid there is nothing that we can do to force the operator's hand.
