Lucky247 - Confiscation of Money

Ruling

Found for the Casino - Conformation has been received from the player that they did indeed breach the maximum allowed bet while playing with a bonus at Lucky247 casino. If you're going to accept bonuses, you have to read the terms and conditions carefully. If you break the rules there's nothing we can do to help you.

Player's Complaint

I made a deposit with Lucky247, and they give me a bonus even though I did not want one, they never gave me option to turn this off. I was betting and I won some money. I waited until I could withdraw the money, and withdrew £300. They are now telling me they have confiscated it due to me playing unfairly and against there rules and regulations. If I meet there wagering requirement why should I not be entitled to my money I won and why would they allow me to withdraw? Surely there system would be able to tell them about unfair betting and stop me from withdrawing until there system feels I've played enough. I am totally upset regarding this. I have never had this problem on any other site and I play all the sites the same and do not really take notice of my up and down betting I do it sometimes depending on how much I have left. Lucky247 never once have contacted me in all this time. I've even rung them on numerous occasions and they have just told me to wait until finance department are in and I can speak to them as they have sent the payment, which obviously was all lies, only today 23/03/2014 have they decided to tell me they have confiscated it after I won this on 4th march.

Hi lilmzsazie - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Reading your complaint I'm not 100% sure what the situation is as the complaint lacks some detail, but I'm fairly confident I know what the issue is.

It seems likely from what you've written that you've broken the maximum allowed bet term when playing with a bonus. In the case of Lucky247 that would be as follows;

A new player’s maximum bet will be limited to a maximum of 20% of the value their bonuses until such time as the play-through requirements on their bonuses have been met. This is applicable for both the no deposit, free spins and welcome deposit bonus promotions.

If you've bet more than 20% of the bonus you received before completing the wagering requirement there's absolutely nothing I can do to help you. The terms and conditions are clear and you've broken them.

Whether or not you asked for the bonus at the time of deposit isn't really relevant. By playing while there was a bonus in your account you've accepted the bonus being there. If you didn't want to play with a bonus you should have asked to have it removed before you played.

If the above isn't the case I need you to forward on all communication you've had with Lucky247 regarding this issue to [email protected] and provide me with your username and email address at Lucky247.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi lilmzsazie,

I've reviewed the emails you sent through. From what I can see my assessment above is entirely accurate. Lucky247 are saying that you've violated their maximum allowed bet term.

What your emails don't tell me is how much you deposited (I do have a list of transactions but no indication as to which one is involved in this issue), what bonus your received or how much you were betting.

Assuming that one of the £10 transactions is the one in question and you received a bonus of £10, if you've bet more than £2 at any point during the completion of the wagering requirement you have violated the maximum bet rule. If that's the case there's nothing I can do to help you. The terms are perfectly clear in this respect.

I would ask that you request your play history from Lucky247 and forward it on to me if your wish me to pursue this issue further. This will allow me to confirm whether or not your play was in violation of terms.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi lilmzsazie,

I haven't received your play history and as such haven't been able to do anything further with this issue.

If you want me to review your play history, you need to contact Lucky247 and request it. If I don't have this by Friday the 17th of April I'll be closing this complaint.

Thanks,

ThePOGG
