Major Tom - voids winnings.

Ruling

Unresolved - It seems likely that the player in question engaged in a manipulation of the Major Tom gaming system that resulted in them being able to withdraw long before the wagering requirement for their bonus was complete. Unfortunately Major Tom were unwilling to provide play logs to prove this to be the case.

Player's Complaint

Hi Thepogg,

I had and issue with Major Tom and I don't come any further with it. After being spammed to death by Major Tom I started playing there loosing allot of money. After a while I had a cash out of 1.2K they didn't pay me after talking in the chat they told me I was looked into by the security department.

That was fine but strange, it took a while and I was guaranteed to get my withdraw and there where now problems in the future. After a long time I got my cash out. So I thought now problem there..

Playing there again(without bonus) I got some withdraws with a really fast pay out. I thought great I can play here more often. So I did that and withdrew 1690 euro's. After 2 days they locked my account and they said I breached there terms.

And never saw any money or responds from them. This it outrages I have chat confirmations that it was no problem for me to play there they gave me there word. I saved them (for whatever it's worth)

I feel tricked letting me play and loose money but ones you make a nice withdraw they lock me out even after a confirmation that everything was ok...

Hope you understand my complaint and can find out more for me..

Regards

Hi VIPFAB,

I've had feedback from Major Tom's casino regarding this issue. Major Tom have informed me that the reason for the confiscation of your funds was due to your playing pattern. Specifically, that you were playing slots game until you triggered the free spins/bonus feature and then closing the game before playing out the feature, proceeding to repeat this process until such time as your balance reached zero. When your balance reached zero Major Tom asserts that you made a deposit, which reset the wagering requirement for the bonus you claimed and then proceed to go on to play out the various bonus features you'd triggered during the bonus and attempted to withdraw the winnings from these features.

If this is the case I absolutely agree with Major Tom that your play was abusive. As a standard deposit match bonuses at online casinos almost all carry a term similar to this one taken from the Major Tom site;

"In order to cashin / withdraw any winnings from this signup offer, you will need to wager the bonus amount 30 times."

By not claiming the winnings from features you've triggered while playing with a bonus you've created a false zero balance and tricked the system into resetting your wagering requirement. By going back to claim the winnings from the game features without completing the wagering requirement you would absolutely be in violation of any term similar to the one above.

This is a style of play that I will not support in any way shape or form and any player that I find to be engaging in it I consider to be in violation of casino terms and conditions and will support the casino in confiscation of all bonuses and winnings.

In this instance however, while Major Tom have described the playing style, they were not willing to share play logs so that I could verify that you actually engaged in this practice. For this reason and this reason only I'm going to mark this complaint as 'Unresolved'. I'm fairly sure that the play logs would have verified Major Tom's account and as such feel it's in all likelihood they are in the right, but feel it would be bad practice to accept one side's word over the other.
