Maria Casino - keeps rejecting my documents

Player's Complaint

Hello, I opened account in Maria casino a few days ago and won 2200 GBP. I was then requested to send verification documents which I did straight away. Maria came back stating that were not accepting my bank statement and ask for a stamp. I went to the branch and the bank told me that no stamps are done by the bank. I read on Maria website and it says I can submit bank statement but now they are deviating from what it states on their website. I do not have any other document to proof my address except for my bank letters and statements. I also have my council tax bill but it is from March 2017 and they did not accept that either. Would you please raise the issue with them and let me know if you could assist.

Thanks for your email. My first comment is that when sending in ID to a casino you should always ensure that all corners of the document are clearly visible within the image.

They send me an email that I have update that I need to see from my casino account,so i logged in to mariacasino and saw that they accept my proof of bank statement but proof of address is still rejected ,so I think they are both the same aren't they?

If they accept my HSBC bank statement as proof of bank statement then they have to accept it as proof of address also?

Could you please contact back them and ask why they accept my bank statement for proof of statement but not for proof of address.

Hi Dualipx4,

As the bank statement is a print out of an online statement and not a document you've received through the post the bank statement doesn't qualify as proof of address. As such you need to forward on and utility bill or bank statement that's actually been posted out to your address and is dated within the last 3 months. If you do that and let us know I'll follow up with the operator.

Hello,

I just had a look at my bank account and i realized that a payment has not been made to my account by Maria Casino. I am now on the live chat with an operator.

Two days ago i spoke to them too and I was told that they are experiencing an issue with my bank and this will be solved soon and my money will go to my account.

Hello

Maria casino keep telling me that the withdrawal I made was rejected due to invalid Bank Account Bic code witch is very strange I use my bank from years and received money from everywhere .

Please contact them and ask to pay me to my skrill e-wallet as I don't have other bank account.

Hi Dualipx4,

This is likely where the problem exists. WireCard DO have a BIC code. Banks need this to carry out international transfers.

I would advise confirming this with WireCard before passing this code on to Maria.
