Nebet – Ignored Loss Limits

Ruling

Found for the Casino - A loss limit restricts the total loss over the period, not the loss from the highest balance point. As such this limit was applied correctly.

Player's Complaint

On the date 16 May 2020 about 00.55 am time i have set a loss limit of 100 Ron for every 24 hours , before i set this limit i had a winning session where i profit about 3000 Ron , the limit states clearly that loss limit starts at the moment they are first set up , they have let me lose over 2600 Ron till the loss limit stop me .

To be clear , Netbet calculates what happens before you set the limit also , for example a week ago i have set a loss limit of 1000 Ron per month , i deposited 100 ron and they dont even let me play , as before i have activated the limit i lost more then 1000 Ron even if i did not had any limit at that time , so what they state with how there tools work is wrong .

i did not intend to loss over 2600 Ron , was late i knew i had to set a limit to control my self , so i use reponsible gamble tools , that did not work as they state so i want those money refunded.

2 years ago i won a similar case after a month , they promise changes and nothing happened.

thanks

Hi beby001144 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you in this situation as the experience you have had has been consistent in both cases.

You describe previously having set a loss limit of 1000RON and being immediately limited. This happened because your previous losses that month had already exceed this limit - i.e. you had deposited at least 1000RON and lost this amount.

When you set your limit on the 16/05 you were ahead. You had not lost money over the course of that day. The money you were playing with was winnings. The limit you set would prevent you ever going beyond -100RON for the day. But as you were at +3000RON, you could effectively lose a further 3100RON before this limit would kick in.

You may find our free Responsible Gambling app BetBlocker useful. It allows users to restrict their internet capable devices from accessing over 12k gambling operator websites for between 24 hours and 5 years.

Thanks,
