Slotnite - Refund request issues

Ruling

Declined - Complaints related to whether UK players should have been prevented from accessing gambling services are reserved to the management of the UKGC.

Read our SlotNite Casino Review.

Player's Complaint

The casino agreed to refund my deposits after several emails back and forth between them. They then advised the below.

As previously confirmed the onus is on the player to ensure the details registered with GAMSTOP are kept up to date and that the casino is not liable for players who circumvent their GAMSTOP registrations. In this instance, as a gesture of goodwill, we offer to refund you the £625.00 deposited, upon confirmation that you agree this matter is considered resolved and that you no longer attempt to register accounts within our network.

We await your response.

Regards

Complaints Team

According to the law emails are legally binded they provided a solution and i agreed with the below.

Hi,

Yes I will accept the refund and accept this matter as resolved under the terms listed below.

I accepted this then they asked for verification documents which i had not sent in previously before depositing which i am sure is against the terms of there license.

I sent all the verification documents. They then came back and said that as i have 2 given names on my passport and i used one when signing up they will need further information. I have now gone back and forth with GamStop to get this for them and have been advised several times they should have this. They are claiming they have not received this and are withholding my refund.

I have all emails and documentation from both Slotnite and GamStop to back all of this up and will send in if needed.

They are now ignoring my emails and when they do reply they seem like generic responses. I understand that you hold a deposit guarantee seal for this casino and need your assistance please.

Hi musa2022 - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you in this instance. The UKGC reserve management of this type of complaint issue to their own team. All we could do is suggest you contact the regulator.

You may find our free Responsible Gambling app BetBlocker useful. It allows users to restrict their internet capable devices from accessing over 13k gambling operator websites for between 24 hours and 5 years.

Sorry we could not be of more help!
