Player's Complaint

I made a account at the casino without realising I had self excluded with their sister site. I then found out and contracted them they close and self excluded my account, I then asked about my deposits and how they should have been rejected. They said they wouldn’t return the deposits. They then said my name was different so they didn’t pick it up however my first name was the same I only realised after the last two letters were missing however every single other details were the same. I only found the website through this site.

Hi paya5s - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Before we go any further, can you confirm that all other information used to register your account matched your previous account? Does this include your email address?

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi paya5s,

Unfortunately there's not going to be anything we can do to help you in this case.

Gamstop carry the following term with regard to the effectiveness of their service:

"GAMSTOP may not be able to spot inaccuracies or other differences in account details, and we may not be able to prevent you accessing accounts you have created using, for example, email addresses that you have not provided to us as part of the registration process. GAMSTOP will operate on the basis of the information you have provided at registration and we will not be responsible for failure to spot errors made on your part."

Gamstop is the UKGC's approved multi-operator self-exclusion and they explicitly define using a different email address as a potential point of failure. If you want Gamstop - or any multi-group operator - to enforce a self-exclusion you have to ensure that they have ALL of your details. This included all the email addresses that you use.

Sorry we could not be of more help.
