Sportpesa - Self exclusion not followed

Found for the Player - SportPesa have made clear that they will not discuss this complaint - or any other - with this service.

Read our Sport Pesa Review.

Player's Complaint

I have recently realised that I have an account with Sportpesa despite having several self excluded accounts with other websites under the TGP Europe license.

I believe the UKGC would insist that self exclusions are dealt with by the licensee and are honoured among all sites on the license. As is the case with other companies.

I believe therefore that had I won anything on sportpesa, i wouldn't have been paid out, and i also believe they should be have accepted my deposits at all.

When mentioning this to Sportpesa they tell me that they have changed their policy in 2018 and because i self excluded with the other sites in 2017 that it doesnt count.

However they have now closed my sportpesa account down anyway.

Hi joe-kickass - welcome to!

Unfortunately the group you have chosen to play with are both negatively listed here and inconsistent in their approach to managing complaints submitted to this service. While we will try to contact the operator on your behalf at the appropriate junctures, the chances of a successful mediation are low.

Hi joe-kickass,

We've spoken to SportPesa who are refusing to discuss any aspect of this (or any other) complaint with this service and have asked us to direct you to their ADR IBAS.

I'm sorry we could not be of more help!
