Ted Bingo - Confiscation of winnings without valid reason

Player's Complaint

A few months ago I deposited £1000 into Tedbingo and played in their slots section taking my balance up to £5000. Shortly afterwards they blocked my account without having settled the withdrawal I made. After quite some time trying to get a response from them they told me because I had opened several accounts within 888's brands they were closing them. Just to be clear, I had not opened more than 1 account at the same casino. They said they were within their rights to keep my deposit but as a gesture of goodwill returned it minus the £4000 I had won. They used the word abuse although I had not used any kind of bonuses whatsoever. I think they need to have another look at this.

I couldn't find tedbingo on your list so I just chose zulu bet as it was the last on the menu.

Unfortunately you have chosen to play with an operator that is both negatively listed with this service and who has historically been non-cooperative with complaints submitted to us. While we will try to contact the operator on your behalf the chances of a successful mediation are low.

Sadly despite repeated efforts to contact this operator to discuss your issue we have received no relevant response. At this juncture we have no reasonable expectation of this changing.

All we could suggest is contacting the operators ADR, eCOGRA. Alternatively, if you wished to consider legal action our understanding is that offer a no win no fee service that specialises in the remote gambling sector.

I did contact Ecogra but did not get a reply from them. However, TedBingo did finally pay up with no explanation for their behaviour. I cannot say if it was anything to do with Ecogra or not considering their lack of communication with me. But thanks for trying on my behalf anyway.
