WonClub – The Worst of the Worst.

Ruling

Found for the Affiliate - WonClub Affiliates have been entirely non-responsive to our attempts to discuss this issue and appear to simply not want to pay this affiliate. Give this situation we consider them high risk for both players and affiliates.

Player's Complaint

We have been owed commissions from WonClub since the summer. Numerous e-mails were sent requesting payment and they were all ignored. We recently received an e-mail from [EDIT] our account manager which you would think would be a good thing. He explained that he had bad news and we could not be paid all the money we were owed. He said that it was not his decision but the people above him. He then promised to pay us less than we were owed in 2 payments. Reluctantly we agreed. Here is where bad gets worse. He promised to make the first payment over a week ago and hasn't responded to follow up e-mails.

SUMMARY

1)Not responding to e-mails and request for payments for months.

2)Then negotiates a lower payment and split payment because they can't afford the full payment.

3)He then does not make the first payment and ignores follow up e-mails.

4)Then they close our account.

Very Dirty!These are the types of Casinos that give the the industry a bad name.

Also, the figure you submitted with your complaints, is this the full amount due or the reduced amount?

Hi Gibber,

Unfortunately after multiple attempts to contact the program regarding this issue they have been entirely non-responsive to our communications.

Beyond publishing a report and a negative review about this issue and WonClub there's not much more we can do in this situation. However, it may interest you to know that we will be launching an Affiliate Union in the coming months. This will not look to dictate who affiliates work with but will look for all members to publish press releases about brands that treat affiliates poorly, like this issue. It's far too involved a topic to cover here, but I hope you'll consider this an a possible additional resource once it is live.
