Luck Casino: Editor's Verdict

My Luck review gave me a rollercoaster of a ride! There are many plus points but also some downers. The Luck promotions had me smiling and reeling in the rewards but then the lobby left me feeling a bit meh. The low minimum payments are a selling point but there aren’t any jackpot slots. You can see where I’m going with this? I’d like to recommend the site to everyone but I think you’ll need to weigh up what's important to you as a player, first.

Overall, if you like slots and bonuses then you’ll have a good time at Luck. I think with a few tweaks here and there it has the potential to be a leading UK online casino. But with just a fiver, you could sign up and see what you think without needing to risk too much cash anyway.

A Closer Look at Pros and Cons

There are numerous pros to playing at Luck though my favourites are the bonuses. These aren’t just any old deals, they’re regularly updated and generous. Deals also don’t just revolve around deposits either - which is just what I like to see.

The mobile capabilities are second to none and the operators have developed official apps to support players. For me, this always gives more credibility to any online casino and shows a firm mobile-first attitude.

Another pro has to be the low minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts. It’s something so simple but greatly appreciated by players. Whether you want to try out the site or have a smaller budget, you’ll be welcome.

It’s not all hearts and flowers though and there are a couple of cons. There isn't a loyalty program though the regular rewards should help to alleviate this. My final bugbear has to go to the small live casino offering. Just a few additions of poker and game shows would rectify this. If you feel like Luck isn’t for you at this point then I recommend checking out our other top-rated online casinos.

Luck Casino UK vs Competitors

The biggest plus at Luck has to be the player rewards. It’s evident that a team of experts are behind these. And bonuses are genuinely good, fair and easy to claim. It’s great to see that you don’t need to deposit a lot of money to get your hands on something. Whilst there isn’t a VIP or loyalty scheme I don’t think that this detracts from the overall experience.

My Luck Casino review revealed that the platform has changed hands since it was first launched. After reading past reviews, I can see that the new operator has put serious effort into making things better for players. There are now more games from more providers and the site is freshly available in the UK. This clears up any previous issues concerning safety and less than fair player treatment. It’s great to see that Luck is being steered in a more positive direction.

In terms of position, I think Luck Casino has the edge over other UK sites when it comes to rewards. Its low payment minimums and large game collection also set it apart from other online casinos.

The Luck Casino UK Experience

I found it easy to get started, you can download your preferred mobile app in a few seconds and get going. There’s minimal hassle, which I really like and I felt looked after by the amazing player support team. It’s evident that the developers have thought of everything to make the journey as smooth as possible. However I think some more attention is required in the lobby. Extra filters and a few different types of games would then tick all the boxes for me.

Sign-up:

Luck Casino has made sure there’s very little to do when you’re creating a new account. Once you have clicked on the orange ‘Join’ button there are a few details to disclose:

  1. Mobile number (UK)

  2. Email address

  3. Password

You can then opt-in for bonuses and promos via SMS/email or submit a bonus code if you have one. Clicking to accept the terms and confirming that you are 18+ will see you logged straight into your account. At this point you will have to enter a code which will be sent via SMS to your mobile.

For verification purposes, you’ll need to submit a screenshot of your photo ID and a recent proof of address. This is to ensure you are of a legal age to gamble and for compliance reasons. This information is often requested before you withdraw. You can upload the details directly and safely to your profile at any time though.

Banking:

The cashier section is incredibly straightforward and Luck displays all of the info you’ll need in one handy grid. If you hate having to scroll through terms to find out if you’ll be charged a fee, then you'll appreciate this. The overall choice of payment methods isn’t that great. You do have PayPal, Trustly and pay by phone options though.

For my Luck review I tested out the depositing and withdrawal processes. I found these to be really easy on my mobile and didn’t need to go back and forth between browsers. The cashing out process time is up to 2 days, though Luck aims to process most withdrawals instantly.

A huge plus point for me is that you can deposit and withdraw from just £5. This makes Luck a great place for those of you with a smaller budget.

Bonuses:

The Luck bonuses are a real treat! You can easily locate them in the promos section and by clicking on the ‘gift’ icon on your profile. All of the terms are clear, free of spiel and displayed under each bonus. So you can get a good idea of what you are claiming and how things will work. I spotted welcome offers, free spins, deposit match-ups and happy hours. There’s something different to claim most days and weeks.

I was happy to see that free spins are credited on the more popular slots such as Book of Dead. Though most of these bonuses need to be wagered within 14 days - so don’t hang around. On the subject of rollover requirements, these are in line with most online casinos. I didn’t find any alarming terms in the bonus conditions either.

Are there any Luck no deposit bonuses? Well yes there are! I was impressed to see these offered, even to newly signed-up players. It’s quite a rare offer especially for a UK online casino. I also spotted some exclusive deals for Luck mobile users.

Games:

The Luck games portfolio hosts around 1,800+ titles for you to enjoy. These are supplied by popular developers such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n Go and BTG. The overall collection of providers isn’t that huge, though I understand that this has improved somewhat over the years. I did discover that Luck only hosted games from just a single provider at one point.

The different genres are slots and live casino. There aren’t any RNG tables, poker games, scratch cards or jackpots for UK players. If you flip this over then it means that the operator is solely focusing on the slots and live dealer aspect though. Meaning you’ll get a richer variety of games to enjoy.

You can also check out the hot and cold games by hitting the ‘Live RTP’ option. I like this and it’ll help you decide what to play more easily. The lobby isn’t cluttered and has a well-organised feel to it. Though a few more slots filters wouldn’t go amiss.

The live dealer section is on the small side and provided by Skywind Group and Pragmatic Play. The focus is on roulette, blackjack and baccarat only, which is fab if you love these genres. But how about some game shows, money wheels, dice and poker tables?

Mobile App:

Luck Casino has a range of options for mobile users, you can choose between dedicated apps or a standard mobile site. There are apps available in both Google and Apple stores. These are recent additions, so it’s good to see that Luck is meeting players' needs.

The mobile site in itself is decent enough though. And if you don’t have an Android or iOS device then this is where you’ll be heading. I tested out each app and the mobile site for my Luck Casino review. All three offer a smooth ride with access to the complete games collection.

Support:

Player support is another area in which Luck is excelling at. The quality is running high and huge attention to detail has been paid in the FAQs. You can read various articles on payments, bonuses and games.

The Luck Casino online chat is fabulous. Once I had gotten past the bot, the agents I spoke with were super helpful and knowledgeable.

Safety and Security:

Luck Casino was established in 2021 and has changed ownership since. At first it held an MGA licence with its original owners, but since then Viral Interactive have taken the reins. This means that a UKGC gambling licence is now in place, allowing players in the UK to enjoy total security. The UKGC is one of the world's strictest regulators so you can be sure that everything here is above board. My Luck review also revealed SSL encryption, stringent complaints procedures and complete transparency for all processes.

Luck has received a mixed bag of reviews over the years but I think that this is due to the change in ownership. It seems to me that the platform is being better run and operating more securely.

Responsible Gambling:

Luck has a firm commitment when it comes to gambling safely. There’s a separate area of the site dedicated to this and it’s packed with helpful tips and tools. There are various limits which you can add to your account such as wagering and session times. The reality checker pops up regularly too, to remind you how much you have spent and lost.

You can click on responsible gambling charities at the bottom of any page for direct help. It’s also useful to know that the support agents have been trained to spot signs of problem gambling and to offer guidance.
