Found for the Player - Our understanding is that imposing maximum bet terms on non-bonus play breaches EU consumer law, but having discussed this issue with this group previously they will not change their position.

Player's Complaint
I won 17000 euros on live roulette on 14red.com and i requested to withdraw it after 24 hours they asked for ID which I sent in they verified it and said the withdrawal will be in the bank in this next 5 working day that was on the 17th on November.
So after 7 days now landed in the bank so i contacted them to ask what was going on via chat and they said they will send me a email stating i bet above the maximum of 30% over the amount deposited.
Its only now after reading the reviews that i wished i hadn't bothered playing with them now i have spent over 10.000 pounds with them
Is there any way of getting this money back or am i just going to accept it?

As a UK citizen you should only be playing with operators that hold a UKGC license. 14Red do not hold a UKGC license and as such are breaking UK law by accepting your custom.
Did you accept a bonus? Have you exceeded the 30% max bet?
