18Bet - My account was blocked

Ruling

Found for the Casino - Where an operator's terms and conditions prohibit players sharing an IP address it is the player's responsibility to ensure this does not happen.

Player's Complaint

Good afternoon. I disagree with the casino decision and I am ready to challenge it. The casino blocked my account. I received a letter that I violated paragraph 3.8. of casino rules. According to email, my IP address is already in use by another account. I consulted with the provider. During the consultation, I found important information. The provider has multiple IP addresses in one segment. Each modem reboot involves an IP address change in one segment. It means that anyone in Belarus can get the same IP address as me after the reboot of my modem. I, too, can get the IP address that another person previously used. I 'm quite qualified in technical matters and I understand you were wrong.

I can provide proof of my words in the form of screenshots with different IP addresses after the modem reboot.

I hope we resolve the matter peacefully. Please return my winning of $796 and I will consider dispute closed.

Respectfully [EDIT].

Hi fat-deserter - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help you. The 18Bet terms and conditions are clear in prohibiting sharing IP addresses with other accounts. Whether or not this has been accidental, your IP address is your responsibility. If your ISP is rotating users IP address in the fashion you describe then you should not sign-up with any online gambling operator that restricts sharing IP addresses as you cannot confirm that you will be able to adhere to this term.

Sorry we cannot be of further help.
