Dux Casino - Payout stopped because of third party payment

Player's Complaint

I am playing slots together with a friend. After registration at dux we decided that he makes initial payment (only because he owed me money and it seemed easier for us). At payment side or elsewhere nothing was displayed that payment needs to be from my account). After payment we started playing (casino did not check about it at all). We were lucky and won more than 50.000€. At KYC check we provided all info including a signed confirmation from my friend that money could be used and he allowed it. But now the casino locked my account and only wants to pay out what we initially payed in. So all of our wins should disappear. In there terms we found a rule that said that - but if we had lost all the money they also would not care at all. I do not think that this is fair play at all.

To summarise.

– Use of this service does not preclude your seeking redress through court proceedings .

– This service is free to use for both the complainant and operator.

– At any point during the procedure the submitting party retains the right to withdraw their complaint. This does not preclude our right to continue the discussion with the involved operator of general issues related to the complaint (i.e. insufficiently clear terms and conditions).

– You are not obliged to obtain independent or legal advice or representation, though you may choose to do so.

Sadly there is nothing we can do to assist you with this matter. As you have correctly identified, the operator do carry clear terms requiring that you only deposit funds via payment methods that are in your name. You agreed to these terms at point of registration. If you have then gone on to use a payment method belonging to someone else, you have violated this term and the play in question would be void.

All we can recommend is that in future, whenever you are interacting with any gambling operator, you only use payment methods you own. Using someone else's payment accounts dramatically raises the chances of experiencing issues.
