The Gambling Commission has announced that there will be a crackdown on operators who do not make the terms and conditions of their offers clear to the consumer. The Commission has stated that operators must not “fall foul of social responsibility” by ensuring that advertising is not ambiguous.
This message was iterated when BGO Entertainment Ltd were fined £300,000 for advertising that was deemed to be “misleading”.
