Madame Ink Slot Review

Released October 2020

The Madame Ink slot can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing provider in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Madame Ink is 3.79%.

Theme – This slot has an Asian theme, something that can be established by the Dragon symbols, the music and the background design. It could also be inferred that there is something quite adult going on here with the use of the term “Madame”, the seedy nature of the background and the half-naked Mystery symbol that we’ll describe in detail later on.

The Madame Ink slot is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. Instead of paylines you form wins when you land 3 or more matching symbols across adjacent reels, with 243 available in total.

Wild – The “Ink Well” symbol is Wild, meaning it will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters. Wilds can expand to fill the reel they land on at random.

Mystery – The “Koi Carp” symbol is a Mystery symbol. When the “Madame Ink” symbol lands on the middle reel it will expand to fill it. It will then expand into a full reel of matching Tattoo symbols, at which point all “Koi Carp” Mystery symbols will turn into the same matching Tattoo symbol.

Scatter – The Scatter symbol is the “Snake”. You need 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels to trigger the Bonus features.

Bonus Features:

Free Spins – Once you have triggered the Free Spins you have to choose which of the 3 options that are available you want to play. You can take 12 Free Spins, during which the expanding Wild feature is guaranteed to trigger on every spin, but the Mystery feature will not be active. Or you can take 6 Free Spins, during which there is no Wild feature but the Mystery feature will trigger on every spin. Or you can opt for just the 3 spins, during which, both feature will trigger on every spin.

Conclusion

I can’t get all that excited about this slot because it isn’t doing anything I haven’t seen before. However, it does look good and it does offer 3 good features. You get expanding Wilds on random spins and you get a mystery feature too. The Free Spins come with options that guarantee at least one of those features on every spin. The house edge is also quite good. Yeah, it doesn’t excite me but then again this doesn’t disappoint either. A solid effort from Play ‘n’ Go.
