Conclusion
Universal Cup is a skin of a game that Leander has used several times for games like Patrick’s Jackpot, Scrooge’s Jackpot and Apollo God of the Sun. But it’s missing the progressive jackpot that these games include and correspondingly carries a far higher House Edge. Universal Cup is a pretty game and has a decent range of bonus features. But why would you want to play this game when it’s charging nearly twice the average House Edge of the games being released right now? The only conclusions we can draw is that this was an effort to cash in on the increased interest in football that will unquestionably be generated by the upcoming 2018 World Cup. Not a great reason for delivering a poor player experience.
