The 5xMagic game can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing provider in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for 5xMagic is 4.58%.
The 5xMagic game is made up of 3 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 5 paylines, playing from left to right, excluding Scatter symbols.
Wild– The Wild symbol is the “x5”. One Wild symbol will multiply any win that it is involved in by 5. If 2 Wild symbols are involved in a win then the win will be multiplied by 25. 3 Wilds will win different amounts depending on the payline that they land on. Payline 1 pays 2500. Payline 2 pays 3000. Payline 3 pays 3500. Payline 4 pays 4000 and payline 5 pays 5000.
Scatter– The Scatter symbols is the “Top Hat”. 2 “Top Hat” Scatter symbols pay twice the bet. 3 “Top Hat” Scatter symbols pay 25 times the bet.
Bonus Features:
There are no bonus or additional features in the 5xMagic game. Here is a breakdown of symbol combinations and their value:
Any three “Bar” combinations will pay 5 times the bet.
3 “Single Bar” symbols will pay 10 times the bet.
3 “Double Bar” symbols will pay 20 times the bet.
3 “Triple Bar” symbols will pay 30 times the bet.
3 “Magician” symbols will pay 50 time the bet.
Three-reel games are rarely particularly inspiring and 5xMagic is, unfortunately, no exception. This is a simple game but does at least have Wilds and Scatter symbols. Having only the 5 paylines means there’s little to confuse players but at the same time there’s little to entertain or engage them either. There are no bonuses and the game is far from dynamic looking. The house edge is a little on the high side, which means there is little here for me to recommend.
