The Age of Asgard slot game is produced by Yggdrasil Gaming. Yggdrasil Gaming take their name from Norse mythology where Yggdrasil is a magical tree where dragons lived and Odin sacrificed himself. Age of Asgard uses to different sets of reels and each one contains 5 reels and is 3 symbols high. Each set of reels comes with 20 paylines and during the Free Spins feature the two reels will combine into one set, which will have 50 paylines.

Special Symbols

Wilds – There are 3 different Wild symbols in this slot. 2 of the Wild symbols (the “Valkyrie” and the “Wolf”) are 3 symbols high. If you can land either of those symbols fully stacked on the reels then a re-spin will be awarded with them stuck in place. There is also a random chance that the reels will nudge one of these Wild symbols so that they do fill the reel if only 1 or 2 symbols land. The other Wild symbol only fills one space and is only available during the Clash feature. All Wilds will substitute for all regular paying symbols.

Free Spins – If you can land 3 Free Spins symbols on a set of reels, you will be given 10 Free Spins, where the two sets of reels will combine. If you land 6 Free Spins symbols across both reels you will trigger the Ragnarök Free Spins. If you land 5 Free Spins symbols then you will be given a spin on the Randomizer Wheel.

Bonus Features

Clash – If you land an expanded Wild on both sets of reels on the same reel then you will trigger the Clash mode. During Clash mode then up to 4 Wilds will be added to reels, replacing high paying symbols.

Free Spins – If you trigger the Free Spins feature then you will be given 10 Free Spins. During the feature the reels will combine so that you are playing over a 5x6 sized set of reels with 50 paylines. Wilds will now come stacked 6 symbols high and still have a random chance to be nudged to fill the reels, which will continue to trigger Clash mode.

Ragnarök Free Spins – If you land 6 Free Spins symbols across the 2 sets of reels then you will be awarded 20 Free Spins. You will play on the 5x6 sized grid and the Wilds that come 6 symbols stacked will always nudge into place and trigger the Clash mode feature.

Randomizer – If you only land 5 Free Spins symbols you will be given a spin on the Randomizer. This will give you a chance to either trigger the Ragnarök Free Spins or receive an instant cash prize.
