Player's Complaint

I have balances at 2 Main Street Group casinos - $13,700 at Slots Plus and $4232 at Las Vegas USA. I did not use any bonuses. Both casino accounts are locked even though I always login every 1-2 months at a minimum. I read other complaints about a dormancy policy, but there is no such policy in the terms of services that I can see and I have screenshots. Their original reason/excuse for not paying is that their processors can't pay USA players due to the UIGEA law and they would pay if I open a bank account in Europe. This is nonsense, but thought I'll play along and call their bluff. I opened an account at TransferWise, which is a service that allows you to receive funds from banks in other countries. So, I was able to provide them with bank wire info for a bank in Germany to send funds in (converted) euros. This was during last summer and they haven't sent a penny. I received payments from this group in the past, with the last payment from Slots Plus in January 2018 for $2000 (this was one payout request out of several from 2017). In March 2018, I received several emails denying my remaining payout requests. After I called them out on their excuse to not pay, they have been non-response. Can you help?

Hi greenzone,

Unfortunately my guess would be that you are out of luck in this instance.

SlotsPlus do in fact carry a dormancy rule. This is included in their bonus terms and conditions and is as follows:

"1- The casino reserves the right to close any account in which there is no activity within 180 days. Not placing a bet, not making a deposit or withdrawal, or not accessing the account, within this period, are considered examples, but not exclusively, of account inactivity and consequently, any balance is forfeited."

So, if you've used a bonus and have not placed a bet in a 180 day period this rule comes in to play. It is not enough to have simply logged into your account.

Can you confirm whether this is the case?

Thanks,

ThePOGG

I never used any bonuses. Also, I normally did place a few bets when I logged in my account.

Hi greenzone,

I've discussed this issue fully with the operator. They are enforcing the term I quoted above in your case. This is despite the fact that the term is only present within their bonus terms and conditions and you did not claim a bonus.

This is an appalling action that is entirely unethical. Not only is the term itself entirely predatory, but you are not subject to a term contained in a contract you did not agree to.

Sadly, the operator have made clear they will not change their position on this issue.

Sorry we could not be of further help!

Can you forward me any email correspondence and/or audio recordings regarding this situation? Just curious how the conversation went.

Hi greenzone,

We do not share private communications of this nature and these are deleted at the time of closure of a complaint.

Thanks,

Did they provide any other reasons except account inactivity? The only reason they told me was unable to make payments in USA and a couple others, but account inactivity for over 180 days was never one of them. Is this also their reason for the balance in Las Vegas USA or was that one not discussed?

Hi greenzone,

Not that we're aware of. We did not discuss your Las Vegas USA account.

Thanks,
