Resolved - An issue with notarised ID has now been resolved and the player has confirmed that they have now received their funds from Vegas Hero.
Read our Vegas Hero Casino Review.
Hi,
Vegas Hero have asked me for the following documents in order to withdraw and I have submitted every one:
Proof of address
ID (I have supplied both Drivers licence and passport)
Selfie of me holding ID
Proof of deposit method (card)
Proof of the deposit I made leaving my bank account
Notorized passport (at a cost of £90 to me to get done)
They are now saying that the notorized passport certificate that I have provided is not enough. Email pasted below:
"You’re nearly there but not quite – we are missing some items and could not complete the verification process:
- Color copy of notarized ID/Passport/Driving Licence (chose the one applicable): The copy of your document must be certified by a notary public, who verifies the identities of everybody signing the document, witnesses the signatures, and marks the document with a stamp (or “seal”).
Alternatively, the copy of your document can be certified at the Post Office ."
I am at my wits end with this - I keep providing them with documents and they are never enough for them. Can you help?
Hi gherkin316,
Thanks for your email. Looking at the notarized document there's a fairly glaring omission in the file you send over. While the pdf document does state that the notary has seen your passport and confirms a likeness, the document does not that I can see include a copy of your passport.
Having dealt with many issues requiring notarized documents over the years, the standard practice is for the notary to produce a copy of the document that they then seal and sign. Without that, there's no way for the operator to confirm that the document that has been notarized is the same document that has been submitted to them.
Do you have this document? If not I would advise you to get back in contact with the notary as this should have been provided and is almost certainly what's causing your issue here.
Thanks,
ThePOGG
Hi,
A copy of the passport was made by the notary and attached to the certificate that they provided me with but the copy of the passport itself was not stamped or signed by them. Is this what you mean?
Hi gherkin316,
It is. Unfortunately this creates a problem as no operator would consider this valid NID. The problem being that you could take this document and effectively staple it to a photocopy of any passport and there would be no way for the operator to confirm that the photocopied document is the one that was actually notarised. What I would suggest you do at this stage is contact the notary in question and ask them to provide you with the photocopy stamped and signed. Given that it is their practice that's deviating from the norm I would imagine that they'll be flexible and assist you without need for a further fee.
Thanks,

Hi,
The newly notorized document is with them now but not heard anything back.
Hi,
They have now had all documents for 6 days but I have not even had an acknowledgement of my email - can you find out what's happening? Seems they simply stop communicating when they don't wish to.
No idea how these are on your list of approved casinos.
Hi gherkin316, We are in the process of discussing this issue with the operator in question and I will revert to you when we have further information for you. As to your query regarding why Vegas Hero Casino are Recommended here - they hold Recommended status because they ensure to resolve complaints to a satisfactory level every time we receive them. Your experience is far from normal with this group. Most players are not asked to provide Notarised ID. As with most well licensed operators, these requests are considered 'enhanced verification' and employed in situations where there are concerns that the person named on the account may not be the person operating the account or where there is concern about a group of account acting in a collusive fashion. Whether these concerns prove to be warranted or not is not something we couldn't presently comment on, but it does mean that your experience is not representative of the average player's experience and therefore not sound ground upon which to make assessment of the status an operator should hold with this service. Thanks, ThePOGG
This has now been paid out - thanks for your help
Hi gherkin316,
