Chance Machine 100 Slot Review

Released July 2020

The Chance Machine 100 slot can be found at casinos offering Endorphina software. Endorphina have been providing software for casinos since 2014 and have managed to gain distribution with some of the largest casino networks currently active within the market. As a standard Endorphina do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help file or paytables. As a software provider not licensed in the UK, and as such not required to publish this information, this is a significantly player friendly practice. As such we can state that the Chance Machine 100 is 4.00%.

The Chance Machine 100 is a 5 reel slot game and each reel is 4 symbols high. The game uses 100 paylines, playing from left to right.

Theme

This is traditional fruit machine with the fruit removed and gems added instead. There is a very basic art deco feel to the reels and their overall shape but ultimately there’s not a lot to go on here.

Special Symbols

Scatter – There are 2 Scatter symbols and they are both Stars. There is the “Gold Star” which pays out in combinations of 3 or more and will do so regardless of paylines. And then there is the “Diamond Star”, which will only payout in combinations of 3. Those 3 will combine for a bigger payout than the “Gold Stars”, but as the “Gold Stars” can in theory hit combinations of 5, they have the higher ceiling, albeit it is very difficult to hit.

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Crown”, which will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters. Wild symbols expand vertically to fill the reel it lands on, but only if doing so will contribute to more wins. Wild symbols can only appear on reels 2, 3 or 4.

Bonus Features

Take Risk – Whilst you might not necessarily class this as a bonus feature, it does play a significant role in the gaming experience. With every win you get the chance to try and double your win by trying your luck in a game of “Play Your Cards Right” with the game’s dealer. If you can flip over a card that is higher than the one the dealer is showing you will double your win. Flip a card that is lower than the dealer’s and you lose the lot. This round continues until you either choose to stop gambling, you lose out to the dealer or you manage to win 10 times in a row. In the result of a tie, no one wins.

Conclusion

Chance Machine 100 is a bit of an anti-climax given the current trend that Endorphina has ad for releasing stunning looking slots. This one is far from a visual masterpiece and to be honest that’s not where the disappointment ends. The house edge is higher than we would want it to be and other than expanding Wilds your only feature are 2 Scatter symbols. That means no bonus and no free spins. This is very much a slot that is going through the motions.
