Bovada - closed my wife's account

Ruling

Found for the Casino - This player has opened multiple accounts from a single address in violation of casino terms. As such there is nothing we can do to help them.

Read out Bovada Casino Review.

Player's Complaint

I had an account with Bovada for over a year. Recently, I contacted Bovada to tell them to disable my account. They did so. Later that same day, my wife created a Bovada account and deposited $500. Through blackjack and roulette, she turned that into $1000. She received an email this evening saying her account had been cancelled and all funds were being withheld.

I know Bovada's rules state one account per household, but we never simultaneously had accounts open and clearly never intended to defraud Bovada. I did live chat with Bovada and they have already zeroed out her account and will not return the $1000 she won.

Hi arobben - welcome to ThePOGG.com!

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to help you in this situation. You are correct the terms and conditions prohibit the registration of more than more account from a single household. Whether or not the accounts are active at the same time is not relevant. As such Bovada are withing their right to void your wife's account and all transactions on it.

Sorry we couldn't be of further help.
