Bovada - lacking regulator

Player's Complaint

It is my understanding that the Kahnawake Gaming Commission terminated their relationship as regulator for Bovada as of Sept. 30, 2016 and that Bovada is currently operating without any regulatory oversight whatsoever. I have attempted and failed to garner information from Bovada regarding if and when they intend to obtain a replacement regulator.

I intended to file a complaint with Bovada's regulator, but now find that I have nobody to appeal to regarding my concerns, as I believe my matter is more appropriately handled by a gaming regulator than by your fine organization. As a service to your users, your review of Bovada should definitely point out that they are currently operating without any regulation. And any information you might have or be able to obtain regarding when Bovada will obtain a new regulator would be much appreciated.

We are aware of Bovada's regulatory status, but this is far from unusual for any operator accepting US players. Simply put, any regulator that is likely to take any involvement in player complaints will not license operators that accepted unlicensed US traffic.

With regards to the review, while this is on the 'to do' list, it is considered low priority given that Bovada are listed as 'Not Recommended' for other reasons and we do not link to them.

While I understand your position if you don't want us to review the issue there's nothing further we can do to help.
