The 4 Horsemen slots game can be found at casinos offering Spinomenal software. Spinomenal is one of the newer software developers in the online gaming market. Alongside many of the smaller casino software providers Spinomenal focus heavily on slots games. The House Edge/RTP of the Spinomenal slots games is listed within the paytable for the newer games in their catalogue. For the older games, as Spinomenal is partnered with UK licensed operators and the UKGC license requires the publication of this information, RTP figures can be found on numerous casino sites. As such, we know that the house edge for 4 Horsemen is 5.5%.
4 Horsemen is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high on reels 1 and 5 and 4 symbols high on reels 2, 3 and 4. The game uses 30 standard paylines, playing from left to right.
Wilds – The game’s Wild symbol will substitute for all symbols other than Free Spins and Bonus symbols. 5 Wild symbols on a winning payline will award a x150 multiplier.
Free Spins– The Free Spins “Biohazard” symbols will trigger the Free Spins feature if you can land one on reel 5. You will be awarded with 10 Free Spins in total.
Bonus – The Bonus symbol can appear on the reels at random and award an instant cash win.
Stacked Wilds – Whilst the reels are spinning a Stacked Wild might appear on reels 1 and/or reels 5. Stacked Wilds are only available during the base game.
Mega Symbols – All medium paying symbols have the chance to turn into 2x2 or 3x3 Mega symbols and will appear on the reels 2 – 4 only.
Free Spins – If you can land a Free Spins symbol on reels 1 and 5 in a single spin then you will be awarded with 10 Free Spins. The Free Spins feature cannot be re-triggered.
Prize Box Feature – The Prize Box Feature is only available during the Free Spins. With every spin during the Free Spins feature the Prize Box will spin. It will land on either a multiplier, which will be added to any wins, or additional Free Spins.
The 4 Horsemen comes directly from Spinomenal’s darker stable of slots games. The colour pallet in use is very similar to that of Lilith’s Passion and I would imagine that 4 Horsemen would appeal to fans of that game. The symbols are of a suitably demonic nature and embrace the red and black colour scheme that the game uses. You have an array of features but arguably nothing specific to this game. What I mean is you get standard slots features like mega symbols, stacked wilds and free spins, but nothing that plays around with the theme specifically. Having said that, this is a good game but I would expect it to appeal to small audience, given its very grim and serious theme. However, what lets this game down the most has to be the house edge. Sitting at roughly 2% higher than we want to see, the 4 Horsemen game is not offering good value for money and because of this we won’t be recommending it.
