The Battle of the Atlantic slots game was produced by the OpenBet slots design company and is leased out by casinos using many different primary casino platforms. As a standard OpenBet do not include the house edge information of their slots games, however some casino do list this information in the game help files. It is not clear whether their games are configurable and as such you should treat the information in this review as a guideline only when playing at a casino that does not explicitly state the house edge they use.
Finding the enemy’s hidden fleet is the key to victory.
This game is a 5 reel game, with 20 paylines and you can only bet one coin on each payline.
The ‘Wild Thing’ symbol is wild.
There are two bonus features when playing Battle of the Atlantic. The first bonus features is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Feature’ bonus symbol in a row on an active payline starting from reel one. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a Battleships like grid. You click on squares to bomb to one at a time. You keep selecting square until all the enemy’s ships have been destroyed or you find the trapped square that ends the bonus feature.
The second bonus feature –despite many hours of play – we never managed to activate. Supposedly if you receive 3 or more of the ‘Scatter’ symbol anywhere on the reels you will be awarded a number of complimentary spins.
Conclusion
It’s a little odd – although far from inconceivable – that we never managed to activate the second bonus feature. This aside however, Battle for the Atlantic is fair game in terms of gameplay.
