Conclusion
Captain Shockwave is Genii’s first attempt at a superhero game. Captain shockwave uses the power of something or other to produce shockwaves that I can only imagine blow his opponents off their feet. The game fails to live up to the concept, looking far from inspiring. The symbols lack detail, the background is also lacking in any substance, all of which means that the game looks seriously underwhelming. This is a big disappointment as anything involving super heroes really needs to blow our socks off these days. The features also fail to grab the attention, with wilds, free spins and scatter symbols, but nothing within those features to add some extra playability. The house edge isn’t the highest we’ve seen but it is still a fair bit higher than we would really want it to be. All in all, I would not recommend this game. If it is super heroes that you are after there are far better games out there offering more excitement and better value for money than this.
