Casino Luck - Notarised documents

Ruling

Resolved - We have significant concerns about the similarities between this and 2 other complaints submitted against CasinoLuck by 3 supposedly independent parties. Regardless, these players have been paid.

Read our CasinoLuck Review.

Player's Complaint

Joined casino luck and emailed relevant documents. Played the bonus and completed the wagering requirements when I tried to withdraw my winnings I was told they require notarised documents. I have looked into this and have been quoted in excess of £150 for the documents they require. I checked to see if certified documents from a notary would suffice but the reply was only notarised documents only. How can they justify this when I have never had to do this before.

Hi will221169,

Thanks for the information. When I said 'how much you wagered on various games' I meant how much were you betting on individual rounds, not total wagered? Sorry, that wasn't as clear as it should have been.

Hi will221169,

It would be helpful if you could confirm your approximate geographic location.

Having reviewed the information submitted by yourself and 2 other complainants with exactly the same issues, there are clear similarities in behaviour patterns across the 3 cases. Clear enough that it's easy to establish why these accounts have been singled out for enhanced security verification procedures.

Obviously these similarities aren't enough to prove wrongdoing, but they do justify the request for Notarized ID.

The price you’re quoting for NID is a mite high. Due to an application for a bank account made in the last couple of months I’ve had to get NID myself. Without any real effort I managed to find a Notary that would certify 3 documents for £35. I appreciate there are regional variations to this, but shop around and you should be able to get this done for a lot less than £150.

I am somewhat uncomfortable with an NID request over a small sum and will discuss this with the casino, but given the significant similarities between the complaints that have been submitted I've no grounds to challenge this request.

Thanks,

ThePOGG

Hi I am in Hampshire , UK. The main reason I contacted you was because when I emailed the casino to verify what they wanted they confirmed they wanted fully notarised documents and not just certified by a notary. This is what has caused the price to be so high. If they only wanted certified copies from the notary the price would have been about £30. Please can we get confirmation of what they actually want.

Regards

Will

Thank you will221169.

There are a number of factors that clearly connect the various complaints that have come in recently.

I've spoken to Casino Luck. They've agreed that you can get your ID certified rather than Notarized.

Please let me know when you've sent this in.

Hi will221169,

If possible could you forward a scan/pic of your certified ID to [email protected]. There is no problem with the submission right now, this is simply an attempt to speed up the review process.

Thanks,

ThePOGG
